How to STOP Adding to Your To-Do List | Align Over Hustle

Constantly DOING something, having a long running TO-DO list, let's face it leads us to stress and overwhelm. We don't do ourselves or bodies any good when we are constantly thinking up a storm of what to do towards our action plan. Now, of course when you are fresh into your business, project or goal there are steps you must take in order for that momentum to start going forward and that is A-OK, and I have nothing against that. It's when we become addicted to this idea of what else do I need to do in order for my business to reach a certain level, or for this idea to succeed, is when we get STUCK!! We get stuck in this idea of thinking up what's the next thing to do because what we are doing currently ISN'T working and my idea/business/project isn't where it NEEDS to be. (FIRST OF ALL, who told you that brule? That your business compared to other people's businesses, when they did X, it lead them to X; where you want to be so therefore I must do X to get to where they are. That is completely false, and there are so many things you are missing! Everyone's lives, businesses, relationships etc. take on a journey of their own, WHICH IS WHY IT MAKES THEM UNIQUE. Don't get it twisted, kay?)

So when you get stuck in this mindset of constantly thinking there is something you MUST do in order to get your idea to a certain level, what you are subconsciously saying is: "Give me more ideas about what I need to do, more seminars, more networking events, more this, more that before I can be successful" THUS, your subconscious mind saying: "OKAY! no problemo. Here let me keep myself on the lookout to constantly and consistently keep adding to your to do list so that you can just keep on doing. Don't worry I got your back ;) ." & how exhausting is that?


How overwhelmed, fried, tired and feeling defeated must you take before you realize what is actually going on???? You must just STOP. STOP doing. STOP adding to your to do list. JUST STOP IT! Again, just to clarify for those people who may feel triggered about hard work not being appreciated, it's not that I am saying for you to stop doing completely, but what I am saying is stop looking for the next thing to do in order for you to be successful because you will create more gaps between YOU and the thing you actually want. Get it?

If you already took a course, attended a few seminars, are working with a coach etc. STOP ADDING MORE TO YOUR TO DO LIST. You are already doing enough, allow the process to work, allow whatever you have learned, the skills you have gained and the knowledge you already have to fuel whatever you are trying to do/grow. Just ALLOW IT. It's about accepting yourself, already knowing and understanding you are worthy enough to make something grow and be successful at it. There is nothing more you must do, get, be in order for this thing to work out. You already got the skills, you already know the basics, just trust it and start believing in it.


Once you start flipping the script, not concentrating on what else you ought to do, you will start tuning into just how far you have come and how your business/project/idea has grown and will continue to grow. Just believe. <3
