Meditation is one of those things that everyone TALKS about it BUT do they really know what meditation actually entails and how long they actually been doing it to say that they are an expert at it ??? It is such a general word used to describe so many DIFFERENT types of meditation that most people are very quick to close you down when anyone mentions it. They will say... "Um... yeah not for me" "Tried it once and honestly didn't do anything for me" "Why would anyone sit still for a bit and just do nothing? Sounds boring" Lol, I get that. I was there and thought the same types of things when I first began to meditate, but I kept at it because something inside of me told me that meditation was super beneficial. Plus after sometime, I truly began to enjoy it. In my video below, I explain what my recommendations are if you are a beginner and not sure where to start. I always suggest doing a guided meditation since they are the easiest for when you are starting out.
