What is Hypnotherapy?

A lot of people get scared or confused when "hypnosis" is talked about. It is not like what you have seen on TV where they take a group of people and hypnotize them into barking like a dog or clucking like a chicken. That is not how it works. We cannot convince or "take over" your mind unless you actually agree and want to be barking like a dog. Hypnosis is actually a VERY natural state that we all go into several times a day, think the amount of times you have zoned out, fallen in-love or JUST before falling asleep. All those states are hypnosis. Hypnosis is the state where your body becomes very relaxed but your mind is still alert, this is when you are in a very heighten and highly suggestible state to take suggestions to start re-programming your limiting beliefs. You are ALWAYS in control and a hypnotist cannot program you for anything you wouldn't want to change. 

How does Hypnosis work?

Hypnotherapy works by relaxing the client into a state very similar to meditation or a state where you have focused concentration. By being in this state you are still conscious and aware of everything that is happening to you, but  it is very easy to direct the subconscious mind with suggestions that the hypnotist will give. 

By going into the subconscious, we can understand the root cause of your issues and problems. Knowing the root cause is key to fully being able to release it and dissolve it for good. 

A personalized recording is then given to you to help reprogram the subconscious mind and the way that you handle life. 

As our subconscious is responsible for 95% of our life and how we handle certain situations.
Many of us enter hypnosis servers times a day without us really knowing it, as it is a very natural state to be in. 


The subconscious mind controls 95% of YOUR life, while the conscious mind only controls 5%.Which means whatever we have in our lives (addictions, patterns, behaviours) our subconscious mind believes it needs to be there -  but all of that can be changed via hypnosis.

How does Hypnotherapy look like?

When a client comes in for a hypnotherapy session, it's important to have already had a discovery call as to identify what issue or problem we have agreed to focus on.

The day of the your session, you will be asked to do a few things prior to the hypnosis, to guarantee the success of your session. These things are usually, a long walk or some form of exercise to get the body tired and  creating a mindset that you will easily let go during the session. 
When you are in the hypnotic state, you will still be very aware and are always in control of the session (things that you don't want to tell me, you won't have it and I definitely won't make you).


I will help you navigate your subconscious mind in finding the root cause of your problem. I will note any common themes showing up for you as these are the key components into making your personalized recording to listen to for the next 30 days. 

After the 30 days, we will do a follow up session to see how you feel and the changes you have seen in yourself. Throughout the month, I will still be in contact with you to support you in whatever you need.
